We don’t always share the behind-the-scenes of what we do—maybe we should.

Over the years, a few people have asked, “Do you guys even give back?”
Some have even told us we shouldn’t be profiting.

And to be honest—that one stings. But I get it. That’s on me for not opening up more about the good that happens because of you and this community.

Truth is, we’ve kept a lot of it quiet on purpose. Not because we aren’t doing anything—but because we never want it to come across like we’re patting ourselves on the back. It’s a weird tension. Share too much, and it sounds like bragging. Say nothing, and people assume the worst.

So here’s one thing I want to share:

We just sent another donation to Project Hope, a biblically-based recovery center here in Texas that helps men and women rebuild their lives after addiction. They aren’t funded by the government. They rely on people like us.

Why them? Because this one’s personal.

My mom battled alcoholism and addiction nearly my entire childhood. I know what it’s like to watch someone you love lose themselves to that fight. And about five years ago, I walked away from alcohol myself—cold turkey. I was done.

So when I connected with Mike Vecchio, the program director at Project Hope, and he told me the biggest need was clothing, I knew we could help. These men and women often come in with nothing. Literally nothing.

Since then, through your support, we’ve donated close to $15,000 worth of clothing to Project Hope alone. And Lord willing, we’ll keep going. Because that’s what Day 41 is about—getting back up, one step at a time.

So no, we’re not perfect. And no, we don’t talk about this stuff much.
But yes—we give. Quietly. Consistently. Because God put it on our hearts to do so.

Thank you for being part of this mission. You’re making a difference whether you see it or not.
