End of this Chapter

They say, “when you start something, start with the end in mind”. Well, I can tell you for a fact that I didn’t not do that. And if I did, there’s no way I would’ve been able to predict this is how the end of this brand would be go.

Yes, I can finally confirm everything you’ve heard, seen, or read up to this point, “we are shutting down”.

The last 5 years there’s been so much that’s happened that’s undoubtedly been some of the hardest yet best years of my life. They’ve been tied to this brand. So believe me when I tell you,

that shutting down Backbone Swag was a decision that didn’t come easy. With this brand we’ve been able to serve so many thousands of people, we’ve shipped out 100’s of thousands of products, and have testimonials that have confirmed that we did what we were supposed to do.

And now being obedient to God I know that it’s time once again to do what I’m supposed to do. A lot of times, the right thing and the hardest thing to do - are the same. I can confirm that with every fiber of my being following through with this decision. Yes, It would be easy to leave the brand as is and just transition as we have been to a faith based only design. But when God speaks for you to do something you’re not supposed to negotiate, or barter with God. He needs you to just follow through. As he spoke to me about turning this brand into a faith based brand I believe there’s something much bigger than me happening here.

Could we keep this brand and have another? Yes, yes we could. But God specifically said “it’s time to shift and change to me”. A couple weeks ago I was at a men’s Bible study. The word repentance came up. And the morning I got confirmation of what the new name would be I started planning out next steps. Keeping or transferring this brand came up. Felt God specifically tell me that keeping Backbone Swag wasn’t true repentance. Repentance is a change of heart and mind that brings us closer to God. This last year, you may have caught on that God had got ahold of me and changed my heart in so many ways. I’m letting Backbone Swag go because it’s the old me. It’s been an “all about ourselves” type brand. Our main goal here on earth is to save people. Help people. And be as close to Jesus as possible. I can think of no better way for me specifically to do that than turn into a new brand that points everyone I can to God.

You’ve given us a chance at doing what we’re all passionate about doing. “Thank you” barely touches the surfaces of the amount of gratitude I have for each and every one of you.

As for the next chapter. The next name…I’ll  be releasing that very soon. We’re still crossing some T’s and dotting I’s. Just know, BBS started in a don’t quit mentality and the new one were shifting to, is biblically based in that truth. Don’t quit because God never fails.  👊🏼🙌🏼
